Custom tabs moved to the back burner within a year or so.<\/p>\n<p>In the decade-plus since, I&#8217;ve witnessed a series of similar fits and starts in the content and social media sectors: the infamous \u201cpivot to video&#8221; of 2015, the fall of the <a href=\"https:\/\/contently.com\/2021\/04\/14\/googles-cookie-ban-spotlight-original-content\/\">third-party cookie<\/a>, the rise of TikTok, the\u2026 let&#8217;s call it \u201ctumult&#8221; of Twitter. I&#8217;ve also seen how abrupt algorithmic changes and regulatory roller coasters can test even the most competent content marketers&#8217; abilities to pivot and problem-solve.<\/p>\n<p>My point?
